Due to its unique hue, Turquoise stone was prized and made into various ornaments for thousands of years. For ancient cultures Turquoise was considered as a symbol of nobility, immortality and wisdom. While previously the best resources of this gem were found in Iran, today most of Turquoise comes either from USA or Mexico.
